In 1971 I flew to Holland, hitch-hiked to Denmark, then travelled on a London double-decker bus
ove r l a n d to I n d i a via Germany, Austria, Jugoslavia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. I met various gurus and got involved in Hinduism. After a year of travel around India, I settled in a Yoga Ashram with my guru Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati. I studied and practised Yoga in India for 4 years. I then travelled to Africa and Europe. I have since visited India in 1986 and with my bride on our honeymoon in 1994.

Ellora Caves Explained Many centuries ago, the caves were carved out of the natural rock face on the side of the river valley. The column in this Hindu cave was not built. It was natural rock left standing, after all the other rock had been carved away.
